STRATEGIC PLANNING
In the area of school governance,
eduINNOVATIONS is no longer the umbrella organization offering consulting services. Jean Lamont,
co-founder of
eduINNOVATIONS and now with Educators'™ Collaborative, currently provides counsel on optimizing the effectiveness of
a school's governing body and mentoring to new heads of school. She can be contacted

Areas of support include:
- Clarifying the role and responsibilities of the Board
- Identifying ways to enhance Board effectiveness
- Establishing a strong relationship between the Board and a new Head of School
- Mentoring a new Head of School early in his or her tenure
- Strategic planning -- assisting the school in undertaking an inclusive, date-driven
process for
envisioning the school's future, including:
- gathering the necessary background information
- re-affirming or revising the school's mission and core values
- dentifying strategic goals, initiatives and action steps
- documenting the strategic plan
- determining next steps in formulating an implementation plan
Jean Lamont works closely and collaboratively with clients to understand the
culture
and
needs of the school before making recommendations.
